September spotlight on books...
Hello September
My last newsletter from Washington… I’ve been enjoying the mountains and the ocean, and best of all, family time and getting to know my youngest grandson who is about to turn one year old. I head to Colorado soon for a week to visit my youngest son & his family, and then return to home base in Louisiana.
Rogue is getting some nice reviews, so if you've read it and posted a review, thank you! Tell your friends about it, too. Word of mouth is invaluable, and authors will love you for it.
I started working on the sequel to Rogue. More about that in my next newsletter.
Looking for something new to dive into? I’ve joined forces with 20+ writers for this historical fiction promotion for the month of September. Tell your friends & family about it. (There’s a share button at the bottom of the email!)
On the blog…
Helen Hollick stopped by with an excerpt from her latest cozy mystery, A Meadow Murder. Like me, Helen writes in multiple genres, and we are both former librarians. Her main character Jan is a librarian, too. Check out the excerpt.
Elizabeth St.John recently published The Godmother’s Secret. The godmother Liz writes about is her distant relative AND was appointed by King Edward IV as godmother to his son, heir to the throne, and often referred to as one of the princes in the Tower. What happened to the Princes in the Tower? Were they murdered by Richard III? You’ll have to read this wonderful book to see Liz’s interpretation of the fate of the princes, but maybe this snippet will whet your appetite.
That’s it for now. I hope you’re finding great new reads and making time for yourself!
